Match Preview LS16 | Negeri Sembilan FC vs Selangor FC | Liga Super Returns With Paroi Challenge


Selangor FC resume their campaign this week in the 15th match of the 2024/25 Super League, facing Negeri Sembilan FC at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi at 8:30 pm.

Currently sitting in third place in the 2024/25 Super League standings, Selangor FC are tied on 29 points with Sabah FC, who occupy second place but have played one match more than the latter. Tonight's fixture presents a crucial opportunity for the Red Giants to gain valuable points and strengthen their position in the race for the top spot.

According to Katushito Kinoshi, Head Coach of Selangor FC, the players are progressively understanding the philosophy he wants to implement and he is confident that they are ready for tonight's match.

"The players have prepared well; they are fully prepared physically, mentally and are highly motivated to continue the fight. I believe the players will give their best tonight," Kinoshi enthused.

"Since I came here, I can say that after the match against Dynamic Herb Cebu FC, they have a better understanding of  the philosophy and tactics I want to implement. However, we cannot be satisfied and need  to continue to learn to be better in the future," he explained.

As for the players update, Noor Al-Rawabdeh has an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, Ruventhiran has a leg tissue injury, while Samuel Somerville is carrying a knee injury and Nikola Jambor is undergoing a rehabilitation session for an hamstring injury. In addition, Khuzaimi Piee is currently at the Harimau Malaya camp to participate in the 2024 Mitsubishi Electric ASEAN Cup. Apart from the mentioned, all the other players are ready to be fielded for tonight's match.

The Selangor FC management is rooting for a positive result for the team at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi for the 15th match of the 2024/25 Super League. Come on, Red Giants!
